notes: i have nothing witty to write here.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -hello, residents of lima and akron. you've finally met dodger jay mathis, a proud senior at william mckinley high school. he has been a track runner since part of middle school, and freshman year, decided to join the football team to stay in shape between the seasons. he actually really, really enjoyed it and has stuck with the team ever since. sure, the team isn't known for winning, but he fits in just fine, he thinks. his parents died when he was six, and he and his sister were sent to live with their uncle, louis. the family seems to be normal and functional to everyone who sees it, but it has had its share of problems. before sophomore year, dodger was in to the party scene. he was at a party that season when it got busted. dodger himself wasn't really doing anything, but there was no way to prove it when there was an abundance of recreational drugs and alcohol. he was suspended from several games for the rest of the season. from that moment on, dodger was a kid who would rather spend his time hanging out with a friend or two or studying. he is very focused on and off the field, and wants to earn good grades and eventually go on to college. off the field, dodger is a nice kid. he's polite and rather chivalrous. however, while he means well, he can easily rub someone the wrong direction. he is lazy, but can be very energetic and easily amused or excited. though he wants to be helpful and a good friend, dodger is often very bad at realizing when he should stop talking or that somebody is angry at him. slightly oblivious, dodger is extremely gullible.

dodger & sethI think these two would get along really well. Seth's new in the school and so far he's surrounded himself with women, haha, but he needs a testosterone friend in good old Lima. They're both really nice guys so I think they'd hit it off! So, these two should meet, yes.
We've already had a discussion about this, so we should figure out a thread to see how they interact together. (:

okay. steven mcqueen. -squee- okay now. calm. emily is the slut from carmel high and is in vocal adrenaline. she used to date seth hall and still kind of tries to get into his pants life. i think that if seth and dodger are friends, then she'd probably know him. she might even try to make seth jealous with dodger. she'd try, it's up to you if she succeeds. she might try to get him to be her boyfriend or something. idk idk. either way, i think she'd try to use him. or it could go in the direction of them ending up as friends. or deadly enemies. idk. up to you.

alex is my homosexual bb who has a baby of his own. he's seth's best friend and like i said above, if dodge is around seth a lot, these two will probably meet. (': he might have a little crush i dunno. it is steven mcqueen after all

seth and dodger , ahaha, i totally agree. they would get along splendidly. dodger would probably be like, "HAI NEW DUDE." but with less excitement and energy, because he's happy not... hyper. he would see seth with his female friend(s) probably end up being like, "woah, you talked to insert name of random hot chick here? dude. how?"
lorelai and dodger , yesyesyes. i can try to get a thread up for them soon-ish, but i've got lots going on with the last week of band and college apps. if you have time before me and make one, just tell me. i'm fine with whoever starts it, though. (:
emily and dodger , i can feel some major plottage coming on with this one in relation to emily not being over seth. if dodger started chilling with seth and she ever showed up, which is likely, he'd probably be like, "woah." but, of course, it would never click that she would be manipulative since he's rather oblivious and gullible. so he would never be able to realize that she could potentially use him to get seth's attention or something. if somebody did eventually spell it out, though, then we could toss some enemy drama. if you wanted to go in any of these directions.
alex and dodger , i think dodger would be totally down for hanging out with alex and probably find him awesomesauce. and he'd probably fawn over charlie... as much as a guy... can. ahaha, dodger would be totally oblivious if there was a crush, and just still be his usual friendly, chipper self.
i can get dodger in a thread with anyone once i get the time, so, yeah. sorry this took me so long, i've been quite busy. |

i think emily might actually feel some attraction to dodger, she doesn't use just anyone. she might also feel bad about using him for a little while before she thinks 'well, i'm emily jordan, i can do what i like.' but yeah. she'd act totally innocent if he ever found out she was manipulative but then yeah, enemy drama would be good. even if she'd still be all 'yeah i hate you but you're hot so i want you' c:

alex would love him because he loves anyone who is friends with him and doesn't judge him. charlie would just want to play all the time so alex would probably make seth and dodge joint babysit her whenever he had to work late or something :3

SOMEONE is going to have to keep Seth out of the loop about Emily and Dodger. Because Seth knows Emily and knows her actions and if he found out that anything was going on, he'd put a stop to it. Also, Dodger would know a lot about Emily because Seth would talk about the situation a lot, I'm sure, if they ever got into a deep discussion, since Seth wouldn't feel so weird about Dodger. So... Just keep these things in mind when plottin', haha.

Seth & Dodger:
Haha, yesss. They would have a pretty stellar friendship. Seth would try to clue him in a lot. He'd be like, "Look, there's a hot girl. Now... Go say hi, because you're hot too -- in a ... Not gay way, obviously -- and I bet she'd love to hang out with you." And he'd be all Seth-esque and it would be cute.
Lorelai & Dodger:
I think this should depend on... When I get my other posts written, haha. But! I'll definitely work on starting one. This will be a really cute friendship full of cuddles and naivety and giggles. I'm pretty psyched.
